J. Edward Cox Biography
J. Edward Cox is a science fiction and fantasy writer, professional pilot, and former Air Force officer. Throughout his childhood, he often went through his father’s movies and watched one after the other, falling in love with the original Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones, and Lord of the Rings. It wasn’t long before he dove into Tolkien’s books, preferring to sit in a quiet corner by himself to read during family gatherings and school time.
After finishing mandatory draft army training, he began studying at a commercial flight school. As a pilot, he stayed outside of the airlines, preferring the excitement of new airports and planning for smaller airfields with business clients from all over Europe. In his spare time, he would fly parajumpers at a local airfield.
Following the pilot layoffs during COVID, he returned to military service, this time in the Danish Air Force where he was sergeant, and later lieutenant. Despite his career, J. Edward knew his true passion lay with great stories and adventure, and soon began writing for himself, and later for an audience.
He is currently editing his first fantasy novel, Fire & Fury, while working on his free web series science fiction/western novel, Splicing Lee.
J. Edward is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player and lives with his fiancée close to nature in Denmark.
